The way we perceive ourselves inherently impacts the way we interact with the world. Our everyday choices are based on how we view our position and place in the world. Identity is constructed in our engagement with the world around us - a composite of how we see ourselves and how others see us.

While we are too engaged with understanding everyday life events, unfolding locally and globally, from our national perspective based on our national identity, there is a big need to reconsider that identity.A global consciousness, in opposition to nationalistic behaviour, influences and enables the way we understand events, shape the conversation and contribute to change based on our global identity.

For instance, a global perspective rooted in a global identity has direct impacts on how we apply to jobs, where we choose to work and on what, as well as how companies (ought to) hire. This talk delves into what global identity is, why it is important to recognise our own global identity -both genetically and socially - and what transformative effects it can have in our everyday lives.

In this engaging and interactive workshop, participants will learn the essential skills of safe falling techniques, helping them build trust in their bodies and reduce the risk of injury.

Drawing on years of experience as an elite judoka and educator, Mathias Krabholm will guide attendees through practical exercises, including rolls and falls, designed to foster confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection with their physical abilities.

The workshop is grounded in biomechanical principles, and participants will leave with a newfound understanding of how to fall safely and rise stronger, both literally and metaphorically.
